DUAL MASS FLYWHEEL

PURPOSE: A dual mass flywheel is provided to maximize the reaction of an oil film formed in a journal surface by minimizing the radius of curvature just before the journal surface. CONSTITUTION: A dual mass flywheel(100) comprises a primary mass(110), a secondary mass, and spring sets(120). The primary mass is rotated by a crank shaft. A grease pocket is formed in the journal surface of a spring guide adhered to the inner surface of the primary mass. The grease pocket is surrounded by the journal surface. The secondary mass is arranged to be contiguous to the primary mass. The spring sets are composed of springs(120a) and spring guides(120b) and transfer the torque from the primary mass to the secondary mass.
