The invention relates to an underwater self-propulsion device to be worn on the feet, that comprises a "shoe" portion (A) to which is attached a "dynamic fuselage" portion (B), the latter including a wall (1) that is relatively vertically mounted and in the relative axis of which the "shoe" (A) is mounted. On the wall (1), which has a certain average height, is mounted a "reactive volumetric assembly" including one or more "stops" (2). The actuation of the device generates an effect on the stops (2) which are opposed to the water flow, in order to generate an acceleration sufficient for propelling a user. The device is particularly intended for underwater sports but also for sea and coastal rescue. |
