<p>The dishwasher has a sump (3) provided below a dishwasher cavity base (17), and a collecting channel (31) collecting water leaking over an upper edge of the sump. A water drainage element (35) drains the water in the channel past an electrical component e.g. circulating pump (11), in a region of the sump. The element is offset based on open ends of the channel and centrally positioned between the ends of channel. The element has a liquid outlet opening in the channel, where the outlet opening opens in a hollow cylindrical drip-off connector (41), which has a deflection edge on a drip-off side.</p> |
