APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CALCULATING TRAFFIC ENGINEERING PATH IN INTEGRATED NETWORKS

PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for calculating a traffic engineering path in integrated networks are provided to set up a traffic engineering path which stratifies a traffic engineering request condition in an integrated network in which plural layer networks are mixed with each other. CONSTITUTION: A packet layer database(130) and an optical layer database(140) stores traffic engineering information and topology information of each layer network. A mapping table(120) stores the mapping information among plural nodes included in each layer network. A path calculation unit(150) calculates not only the paths of the packet layer database and the optical layer database from the plural layer networks of which transmission speeds are rapid but also a traffic engineering path by using the mapping table.
