SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY COMPLETING CHARACTER STRING

PURPOSE: A system and method for automatically completing a character string are provided to automatically complete a keyword set, URL(Uniform Resource Locator) or keyword-URL including an inputted character string and display a list in popular order to enable rapid connection to a desirable site through minimum character string. CONSTITUTION: A web connection log collector(122) collects a web connection log transferred from a user terminal, and a web connection log analyzer(123) analyzes the web connection log based on a connection time, an IP(Internet Protocol) and URL to totalize the URLs which promptly move without an additional search behavior after a keyword searching operation. A keyword-URL totalization ranking unit(124) totalizes the promptly-moved URLs and the connection frequency to the URLs.
