PURPOSE: An intelligent video monitoring apparatus is provided to recognize a synthetic situation based on a video and to automatically sense a specific situation in real time. CONSTITUTION: A video input unit(110) inputs a digital image of a multiple channel. An OSG(On Screen Graphic) functional unit(120) sets up a specific area in order to monitor a sensing line. The video input unit overlays a graphic on a digital image. A pre-processing unit(130) includes noise removal and RGB data conversion about the digital image that is processed from the OSG functional unit. An intelligent monitoring functional unit(140) analyzes the digital image which is processed from the pre-processing unit. A display unit(150) visually displays a sensing result of the intelligent monitoring functional unit.
