PURPOSE: A protective cap for a valve handle is provided to prevent the operation of a valve by an unauthorized person and improve the simplicity of lock manipulation. CONSTITUTION: A protective cap for a valve handle comprises a body(10), a protection cover, a first hinge part(30), a second hinge part(40), and a locking part(50). The body is assembled at one side of front and rear containers in a cylindrical shape by hinge combination. The protection cover is hinged with one end of the upper outer side of a back side container in order to be connected with the upper part of the body. The first hinge part hinge-couples a front side container(12) and the back side container in a horizontal direction. The second hinge part hinge-couples the back side container and the protective cover in a vertical direction. The locking part in composed of the locking container with a locking lid, in which a locking protrusion is formed, and a locking groove corresponding to the locking protrusion.
