PURPOSE: A refrigerant pipe connecting device for an air conditioner is provided to accurately connect refrigerant pipes to an elbow pipe even if the lengths of the refrigerant pipes exposed from a concrete slab are not regular. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerant pipe connecting device for an air conditioner comprises a fixing seat(52), a heat insulator(54), a protective cap(58), and a stopper ring(59). The fixing seat is fixed to the inner bottom of a refrigerant box and has a coupling groove(51) of gear shape. The heat insulator covers the elbow pipe to protect the elbow pipe from freezing. The protective cap is divided into upper and lower caps that are fixed to cover the heat insulator and has a gear-shaped projection corresponding to the coupling groove. The stopper ring prevents the elbow pipe separating from the fixing seat. In case the length of a concrete slab-side refrigerant pipe connected to the elbow pipe is cut shorter or longer than the set length, the protrusion of the elbow pipe is moved in the axial direction with respect to the coupling groove of the fixing seat to change the fixing position of the elbow pipe.
