The invention relates to a portable or transportable electronic device bearing two units mounted in one single piece, a radio frequency identification system (RFID) 4 for the identification of radio frequency tags and a global positioning system (GPS) 1 for the autonomous registration on the memory of the device of data regarding the position and the time of execution of the precise RFID act in respect to the identification code of the tag bearer with reliable traceability processes based on identification via radio frequency tags. Furthermore, said geo-topographic & radio-frequency identification reader can bear a GPRS device for the simultaneous wireless sending of identification data (RFID tags) to a remote database, a device for the identification of the biometric data of the user or a device for the registration of RFID tags (registration of data on read/write or dual core RFID tags).
