A hair roller 17 comprises outer cylindrical member 70, inner cylindrical core 71 recesses 73, 72 in corresponding edges of the inner and outer members respectively and means 76, 77 for locating the members relative to one another so that the recesses are aligned with one another. As described the outer member 70 is of plastics, the inner of aluminium and are located by means of boss 76 and groove 77. Boss 74 engages the lower edge of the core Fig. 1 (not shown) to retain it in the outer member. Outer member 70 has comb teeth 80 arranged in a pair of diametrically opposed groups of three rows and a pair of single rows. The roller is heated by means of a heated rail 52 passing through the recesses as described and claimed in the parent Specification. |
