<p>PURPOSE: A server for correcting location information and a method thereof are provided to correct location information for exactly pointing the location of a user. CONSTITUTION: Whether a loss region in which positioning information is lost is the underground section or not is determined(S410,S420). It is determined whether the loss distance exceeds a predetermined resident distance or not(S430). If the loss distance exceeds the resident distance, a correction is performed according to the loss region(S440). If the loss distance is within the resident distance, it is determined that the location of the user is within resident distance(S450).</p> |
