An artificial bait for sportfishing includes a body with the centre of gravity in the front part, with at least one opening for fixing a fishing line and at least one opening for fixing at least one fishhook, with a plate fixed to the body at angle. Openings for fixing the fishing line are made in the upper part of the body above the the centre of gravity of a jig or with a shift to the fore part of the body. A plate having side members, symmetrically bent as regards the longitudinal axis of symmetry, is movably fixed to the fore part or the lower one of the body with the fixed arrangement of longitudinal axis thereof under angle with the aid of an immovable holder in such a manner as to allow turning of said plate around the axis, which passes through points of fixing thereof to the holder, in parallel to the longitudinal axis and equidistant from side edges thereof or coincides with the longitudinal axis of the plate, in the both directions for the same angle from the position, such that bent parts of the plate, which are directed at angle in the moving direction of the bait, symmetrically as regards to the body. The body is made of material of the density exceeding the water-mass density. |
