PURPOSE: A light emitting device and a light emitting device package using the same are provided to improve light extraction efficiency by optimizing a cycle of a light extraction pattern and introducing a structure with a conductive interference effect. CONSTITUTION: A conductive support member(160) is formed on a reflection layer(158). An ohmic layer(157) is formed on the reflection layer. A light emitting structure(145) including a first conductive semiconductor layer(130), an active layer(140) and a second conductive semiconductor layer(150) is formed on the ohmic layer. A light extraction pattern(132) is formed on the upper side of the light emitting structure. An electrode(170) is formed on the light emitting structure.
