PURPOSE: An instant water heater having a carbon heater is provided to rapidly heat the water to the set temperature, thereby improving user convenience. CONSTITUTION: An instant water heater comprises a preheating tank(200) and one or more carbon heaters(300). The preheating tank comprises a supply tube(210) extended out of a housing and a discharge tube discharging heated water. The carbon heaters comprises a heating unit which is inserted in the preheating tank through an insertion hole(230) and a fixing unit which includes a flange(323) which is coupled to the peripheral part of the insertion hole. The heating unit includes a quartz tube(311) having an isolated internal space, a carbon fiber heating element of coil type, and a pair of power lines which are led in from a side of the quartz tube and extended out of the quartz tube in order to apply power to the carbon fiber heating element. |
