A method for the standardization of the milfoil (Achillea millefolium L.) in multicomponent herbal mixtures is based on the HPLC assay of apigenin in the sample of the herbal mixture containing the herb of the milfoil, the fruits of the hawthorn, the leaves of the common nettle, the hop cones, the roots of the chicory, the flowers of the elder, the flowers of the calendula, the fruits of the dog rose, the roots of the dandelion, the herb of the Saint-John's-wort, and the seeds of the flax. The sample is prepared for the analysis by solid phase extraction. |
