PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF ALTERNATE POLYOXYETHYLENE-CONTAINING COMB-SHAPED COPOLYMERS

A process for the preparation of alternate polyoxyethylene-containing comb-shaped copolymers involves interaction of reactive oligomeric substances. Binary comb-shaped alternate copolymers such as α−olefin-comaleic anhydride and monomethyl polyoxyethylene glycol ether are used as reactive oligomeric substances. The interaction is carried out by acylation in the presence of catalyst. The presence of regular lipophilic chains of alkyl substituents in α−olefin units and hydrophylic methoxypolyoxyethylene chains in side branches of macromolecules of alternate polyoxyethylene-containing comb-shaped copolymers provides solubility of copolymers and formation of self-organized aggregates in media of different polarity. This makes it possible to use thereof as nanocontainers for transportation of lipophilic and hydrophilic bioactive medicinal substances in medicine, pharmacy, cosmetic industry, biotechnology.
