The invention relates to conversion of heat to electric energy and can be used as thermo-electric generator. It can be used for recuperation of waste heat of combustion engines (CE) and other heat engines of vehicles. Subject of the invention is in improvement of heat exchange for exhaust gases with hot gas heat exchanger along flow of exhaust gases and increase of outlet power and voltage at dynamical modes of vehicle CE. The generator is connected to exhaust tube and includes hot gas heat exchangers, cold liquid heat exchangers, thermo-electric generator modules, electric connecting wires. It consists of at least two generator blocks, each of those has input that is connected to output of the exhaust tube of vehicle. In some implementations of the invention in the generator each of generator blocks at output of gas flow has a valve for opening/closing of exhaust gas flow, an electric device for valve opening and a block for control of valves. In the other implementations of the invention in the generator thermo-electric modules of generator blocks are placed on hot gas heat exchanger that has variable coefficient of heat exchange between heat exchanger and exhaust gas along gas motion. |
