An electrolyte solution for a lithium secondary battery, a lithium secondary battery containing the electrolyte solution, and a preparation method of the battery are provided to improve energy density and output power. An electrolyte solution for a lithium secondary battery comprises a triphenyl phosphate compound represented by the formula 1, wherein R1 is any one selected from the group of an oxide (O), an alkyl oxide (R-O), a sulfide (S), an alkyl sulfide (R-S), a methylene (CH2), and a succinic anhydride (C4H4O3); and the alkyl group of R1 is any one alkyl group selected from the group of alkyl groups having the carbon number 1 ~ 20. |
