<p>The invention relates to a locking device having a lock cylinder (8) and a matching key (1); the key (1) having a key bit (2) with at least one coding notch (4) cut in, in particular on the front, and a blocking rib (3) that runs in the direction of extent of the key bit (2) and has at least one blocking rib indentation (5); the lock cylinder (8) having a housing (9) with a bearing bore (10) and a cylinder core (11) that is mounted in the bearing bore (10) and has a blocking member (26) for sensing the blocking rib indentation (5), the blocking member engaging, when a blocking rib indentation (5) is not present, in a blocking recess (22) of the bearing bore (10) and preventing rotation of the cylinder core (11). In order to raise security against tampering, there is proposed a pivot lever (18) mounted in the cylinder core (11), offset in the axial direction of the cylinder core (11) relative to the blocking member (26), the pivot lever having a bearing end (19) about which the pivot lever (18) is pivotable, and having a sensing end (20) which senses the blocking rib (3) in an indentation-free region of the blocking rib, the pivot lever (18) closing off a capturing opening (28) for the housing pin (15) when the blocking rib is the proper height and opening the capturing opening (28) for capturing the housing pin (15) after a partial rotation of the cylinder core (11) when the blocking rib (3) is missing.</p> |
