<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder device of high practical use, by forming an input piston and an intermediate piston as a fitting structure. <P>SOLUTION: This cylinder device selectively realizes an operation force depending pressurizing state of pressurizing a brake liquid by operation force added to a brake pedal 150 and a high pressure source pressure depending pressurizing state of pressurizing the brake liquid by depending on pressure from an external high pressure source device 118 while generating operation reaction corresponding to its operation quantity. The input piston 408 and the intermediate piston 406 are relatively movably fitted by partitioning an inside chamber R26. An input chamber R23 for inputting the pressure from the external high pressure source device is formed between the intermediate piston and a first pressurizing piston 402, and an annular chamber R24 is formed in front of a collar part 472 arranged in a rear end part of the intermediate piston, respectively. The cylinder device includes a mechanism of applying elastic force opposed to the relative movement between the input piston and the intermediate piston, a mechanism of switching a communicating state and an uncommunicating state of the annular chamber and a reservoir 122 and a mechanism of switching a communicating state and an uncommunicating state of the inside chamber and the reservoir. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
