<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform sufficient regeneration without remarkably reducing the amount of charge of a battery. <P>SOLUTION: In a NOx conversion catalyst arranged in the exhaust passage of the engine and purifying exhaust gas, the chargeable capacity Qb of the battery is calculated from a current value charging/discharging the battery and detected by a current sensor during regeneration (S110), and the power generation current target value Ig of an alternator is variably controlled based on the chargeable capacity Qb of the battery to apply a load on the engine and also to increase the output of the engine, thereby raising exhaust temperature (S190). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
