<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of components and reduce the manufacturing cost by using an exhaust duct as a supporting element of a peripheral member, in an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 includes an image forming unit 4 including a photoreceptor drum 14, and the exhaust duct 5 that has a suction port 41 on the upstream side and exhausts ambient air of the image forming unit 4 sucked from the suction port 41 to the outside of a body 6.
