PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily execute the taking-out work of a processed product after compression in a compression apparatus of wastes or the like. SOLUTION: A compression apparatus has a compression chamber 4 having an openable/closable taking-out door 41 on a taking-out port 40, a compression means 3 having a vertically moving press body 34 in the compression chamber 4, and a binding means 5 for binding a compressed processed product B. A processed product extruding mechanism for extruding the processed product B to the direction of the taking-out port after binding the processed product B includes an extruding plate 20 which is provided at the opposing position of the taking-out port of the compression chamber to extrude the processed product from the compression chamber in the direction of the taking-out port, an extruding means 2 for extruding the extruding plate 20 in the direction of the taking-out port by elevating the press body 34, and an extruding plate retracting means 7 for retracting the extruding plate 20 moved in the direction of the taking-out port to the original position by the closing operation of the taking-out door 41. In the processed product extruding mechanism of the compression apparatus, the processed product extruding mechanism is automatically put into an operational/non-operational state by the opening/closing operation of the taking-out door 41.
