PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distributed illumination control system capable of facilitating setting and control of respective dimming boards. SOLUTION: In the distributed illumination control system, a communication network is constituted with a plurality of dimming boards 20 wherein different addresses are assigned, respectively, and a central control device 10 for output of dimming signals to the dimming boards 20 as well as signal wires L1, L2 and a splitter 30. Each dimming board 20 is mounted on each mounting section 41 arranged on a ceiling and wall surfaces of a stage as a lighting space together with a luminaire 50 provided by each of a plurality of batons 40. When the dimming board 20 is mounted, the dimming board 20 transmits setting data D1 including its own address to the central control device 10. The central control device 10 updates a dimming board control file F1 on the basis of the received setting data D1, and can detect that a new dimming board 20 is added.
