PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejector and a liquid ejection head which can efficiently exhaust gas bubbles in supply channels provided correspondingly to a plurality of sorts of liquids. SOLUTION: The liquid ejection head includes filter chambers 44a to 44d which arrange filter members 43a to 43d correspondingly to black, magenta, cyan, and yellow color inks. The respective filter chambers 44a to 44d are individually designed in their inner diameters of the respective filter chambers 44a to 44d, and are so constituted as to differ in gas bubble exhausting properties in response to corresponding ink sorts. The gas bubbles 51 which retain in the filter chambers 44a to 44d in different sizes caused by the difference of gas bubble growing speeds of the respective ink sorts are uniformly exhausted by a sucking operation.
