PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile radio communication terminal, a content viewing system, and a method and program for controlling the mobile radio communication terminal, wherein the way of utilization is simple and a user can easily select desired contents. SOLUTION: When a location of a mobile radio communication terminal 300 enters a specific range or enters a range where communication with a radio LAN router 900 is enabled, a remote control application 310a is initiated automatically. Furthermore, authentication is performed using communication terminal identification information of the mobile radio communication terminal 300, content information recommended by a recommend server 600 is acquired in accordance with the communication terminal information, and information relating to contents meeting preference or the like of a user (personalized content) is displayed on a display operating section 303.
