PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building seal material which can be easily attached to a rising piece provided on a draining member covering a space between an upper portion of a foundation member of a building and a lower portion of an exterior wall, and which prevents water from running into an indoor side; and to provide a waterproof structure of the building using the building seal material. SOLUTION: This building seal material 10 is attached to the approximately L-shaped cross-section long draining member 5 with a bottom surface 5a and a rising surface 5b, which is arranged in such a manner as to cover the space M between the upper portion of the foundation member 101 of the building and the lower portion of the exterior wall 102 provided in a position to protrude to an outdoor side with respect to the foundation member 101, which makes a one-end side with the formed rising piece 5c face the outdoor side of the foundation member 101, and which makes the other end side face the outdoor side of the exterior wall 102. The building seal material 10 includes an approximately inverted U-shaped cross-section attachment base 11 which is attached to the rising piece 5c of the draining member 5, a seal portion 12 which is integrally molded on the indoor side of the attachment base 11 and brought into elastic contact with the foundation member 101, and a rising portion 13 which is integrally molded in the state of being inclined toward the upper outdoor side of the attachment base 11.
