PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse delay type A/D conversion circuit for performing A/D conversion with high accuracy on the basis of "current-delay time" characteristics without enlarging a circuit scale. SOLUTION: The analog-digital conversion circuit includes: a pulse transit circuit 19 having a NAND type inverting circuit 101 and NOT type inverting circuits 102 to 131 for delaying input pulse current; a current source for outputting current corresponding to an input analog signal to a plurality of inverting circuits selected from among the NAND type inverting circuit 101 and NOT type inverting circuits 102 to 131; and a counter (not shown) and a latch & encoder (not shown) for generating a digital signal corresponding to the number of circulations per predetermined time of the pulse current that circulates through the pulse transit circuit 19.
