A clamping mechanism firmly deforms the holder after intended mounting at the holder. Clamping forces are partially supported and/or accommodated by the supporting clips. The clamping mechanism comprises a clamping part separated from the supporting clips. The clamping part is directly or indirectly engaged by actuating the clamping mechanism against the guardrail posts to deform the guardrail posts between the clips and the clamping mechanism.
