The cover (1) has a partial element (2) formed such that a cable is inserted at a side of a connection of a circuit breaker after attachment of the partial element with the circuit breaker. The partial element produces a contact protection by its side turned away to the connection, and an access area remains accessible to a fastening part e.g. fastening clip, of the connection. Another partial element (3) is formed such that the access area is covered after attachment of the latter partial element with the circuit breaker. An independent claim is also included for a method for attachment of a connection cover as contact protection for a connection of a circuit-breaker.
