The clasp (1) has a resilient restraining unit (4) acting against a closure element (3) i.e. locking pin. The restraining unit is incorporated in a chain link made of brittle material. The closure element is guided to a restraining element of the restraining unit via a guide sleeve (5). The chain is designed with pearls and/or stones i.e. semi-precious stones. The restraining unit is engaged in a groove (3b) of the closure element. The restraining element is designed in the form of a box lock. The restraining element is mounted in a bearing sleeve (4b) in a displaceable manner.
