PURPOSE: A stack for a water softener and a water softening system including the same are provided to miniaturize the water softening system by optimizing the size of the water softener and varies the shape of the water softener according to the kinds and/or the amount of ions in hard water. CONSTITUTION: A stack(310) for a water softener includes a cathode(324), an anode(322), and a separator(326). The sizes of the cathode and the anode are different. The separate is interposed between the cathode and the anode and separates the cathode and the anode. The cathode and the anode are porous electrodes. The cathode and the anode include at least one selected from a group include activated carbon, carbon fiber, graphite fiber, and carbon nano-tube. The separator includes at least one selected from a group including polyethylene, polypropylene, Teflon, and cellulose. |
