The two-piece connecting element, especially for the releasable connection of prismatic sections of furniture has a connector (11) trapezoidally formed on the end of a first section of furniture (1), and a recess (21) on a second section of furniture (2) provided for the connector. The recess is formed as a trapezoidal cut-out with a trapezoidal base surface (22) and with a constant depth. The flanks (23) of the recess form the sides of the trapezoidal base surface, and each flank includes a right angle with the surface of the second section of furniture. An independent claim is included for a piece of furniture with a connector or recess. |
