PURPOSE: A vertically-movable polarizer for a vehicle for anti-glare and a drive device thereof are provided to prevent glare due to the diffuse reflection of sunlight which is caused by the location restriction of a sun visor. CONSTITUTION: A vertically-movable polarizer for a vehicle for anti-glare comprises vertically-movable polarizing plates(105,110), a guide, drive units(125,130), and a controller(160). The vertically-movable polarizing plate is coated with transparent or color films to prevent glare during the motion of a vehicle and covers the entire front windshield(115) of a vehicle. The guide maintains the bending of the front windshield of the vehicle. The guide fixes the vertically-movable polarizing plate after movement completion. The drive unit receives the command of the controller and moves vertically-movable polarizing plate vertically to the front windshield of the vehicle. The controller controls the drive unit.
