HANDOVER METHOD USING HANDOVER GATEWAY

PURPOSE: A handover method using a handover gateway is provided to improve the reliability of a signal which is received by an MS(Mobile Station). CONSTITUTION: If an MS moves to a handover gateway region, a serving BS(Base Station) determines a serving handover gateway of the MS(S502). The MS performs a virtual handover to the determined handover gateway(S503). The MS performs handover from the handover gateway region to the target BS(S504). According to movement to the target BS region, the MS performs a virtual handover to the target BS(S505).
