<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device preventing a large quantity of ammonia from being drastically discharged to the atmosphere even if the temperature of exhaust gas drastically rises. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust emission control device includes: an exhaust passage 12 through which exhaust gas discharged from an internal combustion engine flows; a first SCR catalyst 16 disposed in the exhaust passage 12; a urea water addition means 15 adding urea water to the exhaust passage at an upstream side of the first SCR catalyst 16 in the exhaust passage 12; an endothermic body 17 absorbing heat of exhaust gas at a downstream side of the first SCR catalyst 16 in the exhaust passage 12; and a second SCR catalyst 18 disposed at a downstream side of the endothermic body 17 in the exhaust passage 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
