<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To charge an auxiliary battery efficiently when externally charged, in a vehicle which is equipped with a capacitor to be charged by an external power source. <P>SOLUTION: A power system for vehicle includes an auxiliary battery 180, a rechargeable capacitor 110, and a charger 200 which charges the capacitor 110 by using AC power supplied from an external power source 260. The charger 200 includes a control power source 210 which generates a power voltage for controlling the charger 200 by using AC power supplied from the external power source 260, an AC/DC converter 230, and a first controller 220 for controlling the AC/DC converter 230. Then, the first controller 220 charges the auxiliary battery 180 by using a power voltage for control generated by a control power source 210, according to the charge state of the auxiliary battery 180, when externally charged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
