<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily suppress deterioration of power generating performance and degradation of durability by uniformly maintaining the temperature of each fuel cell stacked between a lower end plate and an upper end plate with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell stack 10 includes a plurality of stacked fuel cells 12, and a lower end plate 18a and an upper end plate 18b disposed at both ends of the stacking direction. The lower end plate 18a includes a manifold 54 communicating with an oxidizer gas inlet communicating port 26a, a fuel gas inlet communicating port 28a, a cooling medium inlet communicating port 30a, an oxidizer gas outlet communicating port 26b, a fuel gas outlet communicating port 28b and a cooling medium outlet communicating port 30b. A cooling medium passage 58 is formed on a plate surface 56 on the fuel cell 12 side of the upper end plate 18b to circulate cooling medium along the plate surface 56. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
