<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost smart entry system which exhibits high security performance while having a small and convenient portable key without any risks of operation failures caused by battery power consumption and free from labor for battery replacement and charging. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle side wireless communication unit 2C controlled by a vehicle side control unit 3C and a key side wireless communication unit 2K controlled by a key side control unit 3K, each transmits and receives a wireless signal mutually. A high frequency power supply section 4 provided to the vehicle uses a conductive door panel 91 constituting a door as a power transmission antenna to supply high frequency power P1 to radiate high-frequency radio waves RF. A power receiving antenna 6 provided to the portable key 5 receives the high-frequency radio waves RF, a rectifying circuit converts the high-frequency output from the power receiving antenna 6 into a direct current, and a power storing means 8 stores (stored voltage V) the DC output P2 from the rectifying circuit 7 to drive the key side wireless communication unit 3K and the key side control unit 2K. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
