PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical circuit assembly in which a printed wiring board is accurately and easily mounted on an optical circuit. SOLUTION: The optical circuit assembly of one embodiment includes a waveguide type optical circuit and a printed wiring board. The waveguide type optical circuit includes an optical waveguide formed on a plane substrate, resistor heating elements formed on an optical waveguide and an electrode electrically connected to the resistor heating elements. The printed wiring board includes wirings, the electrode and open windows. By providing the open windows of the printed wiring board so that the electrode of the waveguide type optical circuit and the electrode of the printed wiring board are electrically connected, the printed wiring board is accurately and easily mounted on the optical circuit.
