<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire ensuring both of dry driving stability performance and snow driving stability performance. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire has at least one of the three land portions 3 formed on a tread surface extending, on at least one of the side faces in the tire width direction, toward the groove bottom side of a main groove 1 from a tread surface; and has a tapered portion 4 whose length in the tire width direction gradually increases toward the groove bottom side of the main groove 1. The tapered portion 4 has a plurality of grooves which start at an intermediate position in the tire radial direction of the surface thereof, extend radially inwardly of the tire, and are formed at intervals in the tire circumferential direction, wherein a tire-radially inward terminating position of the groove 5 is located more radially inward than the tire-radially outward position of the wear indicator 6 formed in the groove bottom of the main groove 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
