摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image file data structure for easily and reliably identifying a moving image and a still image that are relevant mutually, and to provide an image file generation device, an image file generation method, and an electronic camera.

SOLUTION: The image file data structure relating to a moving image and a still image that are photographed by an electronic camera photographing the still image during photographing of the moving image, and are related mutually for recording includes metadata 60 for one image of the moving image and the still image photographed under the photographing of the moving image. The metadata 60 includes identification data 63 uniquely identifying the other image related to the one image.
