<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon nanotube composite having a structure where one edge side of first carbon nanotubes in a longitudinal direction is tangled with second carbon nanotubes in a carbon nanotube aggregate consisting of a plurality of carbon nanotube bundles and to provide a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The carbon nanotube composite has the carbon nanotube aggregate in which a plurality of the first carbon nanotubes are arranged in parallel and partially tangling second carbon nanotubes with a part of the first carbon nanotubes in the longitudinal direction in the first carbon nanotubes. The carbon nanotube composite is produced by that a processing liquid containing a catalyst or a catalyst-having compound is contacted with a substrate, a plurality of island-shaped seed catalyst particles are formed by dispersion and the forming reaction of the carbon nanotubes occurs on the substrate having the seed catalyst particles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
