PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a cost of a culture method including a harvesting work to achieve mass production of relatively large sea weed for use as a fuel. SOLUTION: The seaweed culture method includes setting a culture member 1 in which implantation members 11 are set to fixed members 12 at prescribed intervals with known supporting members 2, floating members 3, and mooring members 4 in a middle layer of seawater in a natural sea area, naturally growing seaweeds 7 having bladders and growing upward from the culture member 1 on the implantation members 11, cutting the seaweeds 7 with a cutter machine 6 loaded on a ship 5 as mobile means on the sea surface, in a grown stage, and then harvesting the cut seaweed from the sea surface.
