One embodiment of the present invention discloses an audio signal controlling apparatus for a wired / wireless communication device, which distinguishes speech and music from input source, audio signals, and applies different amplification thereto. One embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a music signal distinguishing unit which distinguishes music signals from inputted audio signals that contain both speech signals and music signals; a controller which makes a determination on the distinguished music signals and outputs the results; and a path selecting unit which outputs the audio signals by selecting different paths according to the results from the controller.
