METHOD FOR TREATING A GASEOUS EFFLUENT AND ASSOCIATED TREATMENT UNIT

The invention relates to a method consisting in conveying a raw gaseous effluent through a first heat exchanger (34) so that it is at least partially condensed by heat exchange with a liquid refrigerant and, subsequently, conveying the partially condensed effluent into a separation tank (36). The method comprises the separation of the partially condensed effluent into a treated gaseous effluent and a liquid and the discharge of a gas stream of treated effluent from the separation tank (36). The liquid refrigerant flows through the first heat exchanger (34) so that it is at least partially evaporated by heat exchange with the raw gaseous effluent. During the method, the pressure of the liquid refrigerant is brought to a value above 3.8 bars in the first heat exchanger (34).
