<p>Provided is a light emitting device provided with a mechanism which can efficiently radiate heat accumulated in the device. The light emitting device is comprised of a first substrate provided with a heat radiation layer, a second substrate having a light transmission property, and a plurality of organic EL elements which are provided between the first and second substrates and which emit light toward the second substrate. The second substrate is comprised of linear and thermally-conductive wires which are dispersed. The thermally-conductive wires have a diameter of 0.4 µm or less and a thermal conductivity higher than that of components of the second substrate other than the thermally-conductive wires.</p> |
