PURPOSE: A solar battery and manufacturing method thereof are provided to arrange a frontal electrode layer on solar battery cells, thereby enhancing electrical features. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of solar battery cells(C1~Cn) is formed on a substrate. The solar battery cells comprise active areas(A) and dummy areas(B) respectively. The active areas generate a photoelectron-motive force. The dummy areas comprise a light transmitting part. The active areas and the dummy areas are alternately arranged. The active areas and the dummy areas are formed in a mesh type. |
