<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of restraining the occurrence of carrying failure when paper passes through a switchback passage, while having the stiffness applying function, with a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: A paper ejecting unit of this image forming device includes a first passage 103 for ejecting paper to an external part, a second passage 104 for refeeding the paper to an image forming unit when double-sided image forming processing is applied, a paper carrying part 40 for carrying the paper toward the external part from the first passage 103 and constituted so that the paper can be inversely carried toward the second passage 104, and a stiffness applying member 47 for applying stiffness to the paper by deforming the paper in a waveform when the paper carrying part 40 carries the paper. An upstream side passage part 53 of the second passage 104 is set narrow in a width D in the thickness direction of the paper to a degree capable of relieving the waveform of the paper when the paper passes through the upstream side passage part 53. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
