<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure weight related information useful for healthcare in a home toilet without any consciousness, constraint and operation. <P>SOLUTION: A weight estimating system includes a booth having a predetermined volume allowing an entry of a subject therein, an exhaust means for discharging air in the booth at a constant flow rate, a suction port introducing a predetermined amount of outer air, and a pressure measuring means for measuring a pressure change against a predetermined time in the booth. Once the subject enters the toilet booth, the system estimates a volume of the subject in the booth by the pressure change, calculates an estimated weight based on the estimated volume, thus measuring the weight related information useful for healthcare at home without any consciousness, constraint and operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
